Our Belief
At ARHISCAPE, We consider each project as an opportunity to contribute to the development of society & as an opportunity to contribute to the conservation of our environment.
We believe that while addressing aspirations, economic considerations & time frame of development, we cannot afford to neglect the contexts and the contextual forces acting on design.
We attempt to design in response to the local climate & topography and also to create & retain connections between buildings and history of the place as well as the culture of the community to which they belong.
We look at Landscape Architecture as a love affair between the built and the surrounding and through our work; we strive to create meaningful relationships
Methodology
Each project starts with a research & analysis phase before concepts are developed. It then progresses through several iterations of programmatic thinking as the landscape design starts to emerge. The design is then developed & detailed considering hundreds of parameters that affect it and also considering all probable ways in which people may use the landscape spaces. After extensive detailing, the project qualifies to graduate to the construction phase, which has to continuously monitored and evaluated for adherence to design intent & quality standards.
Ideas need to be carefully nurtured and detailed before they are planted into our landscape scheme. Each of our projects goes through an intense phase of design development and detailing before the commencement of construction.
